As a triathlete with experience competing in a wide range of distances up to the Ironman level as well as qualifying for both ITU age group olympic-distance world championship and Ironman world championship, I’m passionate about helping athletes of all ages and experiences begin their triathlon training journeys. My experience in endurance sports has taught me the value of dedication, smart training, and mental resilience, and I bring that knowledge into every coaching session.

Having started with zero athletic experience and progressing to completing five half Ironmans with a PR of 5:38, two full Ironmans with a PR of 11:31, and qualifying for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawai’i, I understand the challenges of starting from scratch and the dedication required to reach ambitious goals. My personal experience, combined with tailored training plans, allows me to guide athletes of all levels, helping them unlock their potential no matter their athletic background.

As an ACSM certified personal trainer, I aim to integrate strength and conditioning into my coaching approach. This will help my clients build a solid foundation of endurance, prevent injuries, and enhance overall performance. By combining endurance training with strength-focused workouts, I can guide athletes toward greater resilience and peak race-day fitness.

As well as being certified through the American College of Sports Medicine, I also have a bachelor’s degree in biology, which gives me a strong foundation in understanding the science behind nutrition and exercise physiology, both of which are essential for optimizing performance as a triathlon coach. With my knowledge of how the body processes nutrients and adapts to physical stress, I can create training plans that not only enhance athletic performance but also promote overall health and recovery. This scientific background allows me to tailor nutrition and conditioning strategies to meet the specific needs of my clients.

My focus is on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for those new to the sport. I understand the challenges that come with starting triathlon training, and I’m committed to guiding athletes step by step, from the basics of swimming, cycling, and running to crossing the finish line of their first race. My approach is centered on building confidence, developing proper technique, and fostering a love for the sport, helping athletes feel prepared, motivated, and excited about their triathlon journey.

Together, we’ll build strength, endurance, and confidence to excel in swimming, cycling, and running.
